STEPHAN CASS

Digital Media Teacher

I've been teaching Digital Media/TV Production going on my 14th year. I'm originally from Oswego NY, which is known as the snow capital of the world. I have two dogs, Sadie, a Weimaraner, and Elliott, a Maltipoo. I started my teaching career in my home town, revamping the TV program with new curriculum and updating the facility to a full HD studio and a production trailer, which allowed the students to get hands on experience with remote productions of various events in the schools and community. I then had an opportunity to start a program from scratch in Ithaca, NY. This allowed me to set up the curriculum, but also allowed me to build the TV studio from the ground up. This was a huge undertaking but the opportunities the students had gave them a leg up against other students in college. Then, I had another opportunity, which brought me to the Cape to set up a program here at Monomoy.

ROSEMARIE RICHARD

Music Teacher

Ms. Richard is the high school music teacher here in Monomoy Regional High School coming to the Cape in 2001 from a teaching position at a large international school in Mexico City, Mexico. She is a passionate and tireless advocate of music education and loves teaching both chorus and band. She grew up on Martha's Vineyard Island so is definitely a Cape Cod (and Islands) kid but when given the opportunity loves to travel to large cities and foreign countries. If she's not traveling to a foreign country she spends her free time cooking and loves to experiment with making her own kimchi and curing lamb belly and duck breast for bacon.
